Project NEDIA multiplier event took place in Estonia, Tallinn, 24 August 2016.

Multiplier event took place in Tallinna Tööstushariduskeskus (Tallinn Industrial Education Centre) and during the event, all main intellectual outputs produced in the framework of NEDIA project were introduced.

Project third transnational meeting took place in Latvia, Liepaja 16-17 June 2015
Project partners discussed about the results of O1, Report „New needs in the industry and needed competences in the field of mechatronics“. The report is based on analysis of previous researches and feedback of companies, vocational education teachers and alumnis in mechatronics field. The partners found that the report gives good overview about mechatronics situation and valuable feedback and ideas to improve vocational education in mechatronics. Also tasks and plans for next output O2 Methodology „New training methods and their implementation in modern vocational education“ were discussed as well as project partner PIKC Liepajas Valsts Tehnikums (Liepaja State technical school) and some mechatronics companies were visited.

Project first transnational meeting (opening meeting) took place in Estonia, Tallinn, 2 October 2014

On Thursday, 2 October, kick-off meeting of NEDIA project was held where representatives of all five participating organizations from three participating countries (Estonia, Latvia and Finland) participated. Overview of the project, its objectives, activities, tasks and timetable was presented, as well as reporting and templates introduced. Also activities and tasks for producing the first intellectual output O1 (Report „New needs in the industry and needed competences in the field of mechatronics“) were discussed.

NEDIA project is going to develop didactical outputs and ideas for mechatronics vocational education. The second important aspect is to establish a basis for cooperation network. Project duration is from 1.September, 2014 until 31.August, 2016. Project leading partner and coordinator is IMECC – Innovative Manufacturing Engineering Systems Competence Centre. Project partners are Tallinn Industrial Education Centre (Tallinna Tööstushariduskeskus), Machine Technology Centre Turku (Koneteknologiakeskus Turku OY), Raisio Regional Education and Training Consortium (Raision seudon koulutuskuntayhtymä) and Liepaja State Technical School (PIKC Liepajas Valsts Tehnikums).
